The “Polish Community” Association in connection with Russia's military aggression and barbaric invasion of Ukraine, which has caused a huge humanitarian crisis, is organising aid for Polish people in Ukraine. A large number of our compatriots living in Kiev, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnitsa, Kharkiv and other regions of Ukraine are fleeing the country and seeking help in the Motherland.
We are already helping hundreds of Polish people from Ukraine, mainly children and mothers who have fled war zones. We are with them and are helping them. Urgent humanitarian aid is also needed for those Polish people who have chosen to remain in Ukraine.
We call upon Polish people and Polish diaspora around the world to show solidarity with Ukraine and to help our Compatriots in Ukraine.
There is a large group of several hundred thousand of our compatriots living in Ukraine, just across the Polish border, and we must not forget about them at this dramatic time. The ‘Polish Community’ Association has been helping and cooperating with Polish communities and organisations in Ukraine for over 30 years. Especially today, at a time of tragedy in Ukraine, our help for Polish people in Ukraine is needed.
